This week we said a sad farewell to all our special people and our beautiful Cape to finally begin the long journey to Calgary. It’s been a crazy, busy, emotional, stressful, but exciting, time.
We have had a good life in South Africa and we know that we are giving up a lot for the complete unknown, but we believe that it will all be worth it. If anything, we are seeing this as a great adventure.
The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of final preparations, farewells, high tensions and emotional ups and downs as we have fluctuated between feelings of fear and trepidation and then excitement and wonder.
There is so much more I want to say on this topic, but for now, this is just a short post to say so long and see you on the other side, Canada!
