Although it’s been quite an adjustment moving from sunny South Africa to chilly Canada, we have really embraced our new surroundings and the new experiences of living in a snowy winter climate.
We’ve certainly not let the cold stop us and have had so much fun getting out and about as a family. The kids have loved going tobogganing, we’ve really enjoyed exploring the walking and hiking trails, and I just can’t get enough of the beauty of the winter wonderland around us.
The snow really is magical, especially when it’s falling softly around us. I’m sure that we’ll eventually grow tired of it. But for now, I still experience an excited wonder when I see the snow, and I just can’t help taking hundreds of photos.
